If you are a Christian:
You will be called a fool for Christ; for what you do is foolish is the eyes of the world, (1 Cor. 1:18-23). But true wisdom is found in truth not in lies. God cannot lie, Jesus Christ cannot lie; He is the truth, His word is the truth. (Heb. 6:18, John 14:6, 17:17).

If you are a Christian:
You will make enemies, for you cannot be a friend of the world and a friend of God at the same time, (James 4:4). Even those very close to you may become your enemy. Paul said to those he loved, "Have I therefore become your enemy by telling you the truth?" (Gal. 4:16 NAS) Still, you are to love your enemies, (Matt. 5:43-44).

If you are a Christian:
Then you must be willing to follow Christ at any cost. Jesus said, "For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's shall save it." (Mark 8:34-38. NAS)

If you are a Christian:
Then you must recognize that as a soldier of Christ, He will not accept cowardice in His army, (Rev. 21:8). Paul said to Timothy, "Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus." (2 Tim. 2:3 NAS)

These are hard and strong words and if followed it will make strong Christians. God wants His people to be strong not weak. Will you recognize, receive, trust and act on these things? Paul said, "Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong." (2 Cor. 12:10 NAS) (If you have not already done so, please follow-up by reading from your Bible the passages given in this article.)
